Wine List
The focus of our list is to provide very good examples of grape and regional varieties from around the world at reasonable prices. Some easy-drinking everyday wines sit alongside some very fine clarets. At present we list in excess of 90 wines, with eight house wines available by the glass. The red house wines are Merlot (Italy), Cabernet Sauvignon (Chile), Rioja (Spain) and Shiraz (Argentina). The white house wines are Viognier (France), Chardonnay (USA), Sauvignon Blanc (Argentina) and Pinot Grigio (Italy).
Some of our wines have serious recommendations, for example:
Koura Bay, Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand has been awarded the very high score of 90 points by Robert Parker
The Gullies Pinot Noir was placed second of all NZ Pinot Noirs for 2003.
Prices range from 13 pounds for an Italian Merlot and French Viognier to 200 pounds for a Chateau Leoville Barton, 1990
